This is the first book I have read by the author. I could not put it down. Beatrice is a woman who was born with a silver spoon in her mouth but her life was not all golden. She was a hard person to like in the beginning , but once your discover what her life was really like you will start to feel for her. I loved the relationship between Beatrice and Charles. He was the one person who knew the real person underneath the image she presented to everyone else. Her son, daughter in law and granddaughter Zoe forgive her for her past deeds and show her how to love herself and how to accept love from others. This is a book about forgiveness and living through your pain. It is refreshing to read about a romance about a older couple, we don't get that often.Product details

I was surprised to find out that the evil woman Beatrice that I hated had gone through so much unhappiness as a child and adulthood. All those bad things explained why she was so mean. I warmed up to her after she faced her demons and became a woman I too learned to like. Great story! Awesome read!
The story starring Beatrice; telling her story that ends with being someone you celebrate! Spoiled as a child, married to an emotionally and physically abuser, she became cold and spiteful. When her son and his family shut her out of their lives, she made changes and fought hard to show that she could love and was capable of being loved. Then there is Charles, her encourager, and he is starting to look good to her to! After her story is shared she blossoms into the woman, mother, grandmother, sister and friend that is loved.
What glitters is not always gold and your past does not dictate your future. Beatrice and Charles embark on a new life!
Does Bernice Warrington have any redeeming qualities and is she willing to work on changing her EVIL ways...will her family and friends be able to forgive her for ALL the misery she caused them...ESPECIALLY Langston, Ava and Zoe...can they find it in their hearts to give her a second chance...and will Bernice "Ms. Lady" ever find her TRUE love and her own happily-ever-after! Excellent read. I almost missed the fact that this book is a sequel to Victoria Wells book Key to my Heart. It was fantastic. I never thought I would actually grow to like Beatrice bur I did. I also liked the revisit of the other characters from the love conquers all series. I read this book it one sitting. I absolutely cannot wait for the remaining books in this series. I have waited a long time for additional books from this writer. Buy this book. It is great
This book was so good and heartwarming I couldn't stand Beatrice she had some serious issues. Love how the author told the story of why she acted out I felt so bad for Ms Lady . This book is about love, forgiveness, redemption, healing and finding your way . Beatrice deserved to be happy and Charles was the man this is the best book yet can't wait for next story Excellent
Loved this book!! I can honestly say I love Beatrice now. At the end of Key To My Heart I despised her and felt sorry for her. She was a bitter woman destined to end up alone. Kudos to Suzette for writing such an incredible story of love, forgiveness and healing. We never know what others are going through. Her life story was filled with pain,loneliness and heartache. It was heart warming watching her shed the pain and bondage of her past. Charles's love and strength were what she needed to face her demons. Really enjoyed watching her relationships be repaired and blossom. I cannot say it enough, this is an awesome book!!!
